We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

Job Description: As a Technical Project Manager at Delft Circuits, you will manage projects that take 2 – 9 months, ranging from simple cables to fully assembled state-of-the-art systems (fully tailored i/o for groundbreaking quantum computing applications). Your role will cover the system design and management cycle from the customer’s request until the final product is delivered.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management in project flow

  • Design Freeze & Handover to manufacturing: Ensure the design is finalized, documented, and handed over to manufacturing.
  • Communication: Serve as the liaison between the design team, manufacturing, and procurement to ensure timely delivery.
  • Project Tracking: Oversee project timelines, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Delivery: Coordinate the delivery of finished products to customers, managing logistics and expectations.
  • Facilitating engineers: Collaborate closely with engineers, supporting them administrative tasks to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Procurement: Coordinate procurement tasks with supply chain coordinator

Administrative & Reporting Tasks

  • ERP/CRM Management (Odoo): Maintain and update project data, ensuring Odoo is clean and well-organized
  • Reporting & Dashboarding: Keep reporting dashboards up-to-date, providing transparency on project progress
  • Archive & Organization: Archive projects and analyze repeat orders to help standardize the product portfolio
  • Processing and templating: setting up the project flow process and creating a universal templates for all project flow steps

Technical responsibilities

  • System design: mechanical or/and electrical design on the sketch level, thermal budget, RF budget. Transferring tasks to mechanical/system design engineers
  • Design reviews: taking part in design reviews
  • Technical support for the Sales team: providing full technical (product) support during the contracting phase. Writing technical proposals for the customers
  • Handover to production: setting up the product specs, and transferring tasks to productions.

 

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in project management
    • Experience working with ERP/CRM systems, preferably Odoo
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Experience working with CAD software (Inventor, Fusion, Solid Works)
    • Experience working with RF/Microwave simulation tools
    • Skilled in using project management tools such as Gantt charts
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in English language
    • A meticulous and organized individual who thrives in maintaining order in systems
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Strong communication skills to coordinate across teams and ensure smooth project handovers

 

Ideal Candidate

  • Someone who takes pride in keeping systems clean and organized
  • A natural multitasker who enjoys managing many projects at once
  • A proactive problem solver who facilitates the work of engineers, ensuring they have everything they need to excel
  • Experience in high tech industry (test and measurements, telecom, semicon, etc.)
  • Proficient in electrical/mechanical engineering, cryogenic background would be a strong asset
