Integration the i/o chain into all fridges

Supporting infrastructure is required to integrate the i/o chain into the fridge. The two main considerations are:

  • Feeding into the vacuum, for which our (multi-) flex vacuum feedthroughs are developed, and;
  • Thermalizing the chain, for which a variety of thermalization components are available.

Vacuum Feedthrough

Cri/oFlex® can be provided with a vacuum feedthrough for standard ports (ISO-100, KF-40, KF-25). The hermetic seal has a leak rate below 1.2 · 10-9 mbar L/s, and an outgassing rate below 6 · 10-8 mbar L/s. Furthermore, we have introduced a new ergonomic mounting system to securely mount our SMA and SMP breakouts at room temperature.

Thermalization at temperature stages

As a result of the planar nature of Cri/oFlex® the heat generated by attenuators and infrared filters is efficiently removed when properly clamped with our thermal anchors.

A range of thermalization components is available for both flex components and connectors as well as for general use / third-party components. All thermalization components are produced in gold plated oxygen free copper to ensure optimal thermalization properties.

    • Multi flex thermal clamp (up to 5 Cri/oFlex® 3 cables)
      • Short version (MvL: 2)
      • Tall version (in flex component thermalization) (MvL: 1)
    • Connector and tabbi/® mounting and thermalization

Sideloaders and probes (separate section?)

Delft Circuits provides fully equipped sideloaders and probes, ready for installation in your setup. The full i/o chain is included, as well as the required fridge plates, thermalization accessories and mounting brackets.
